Quarterback Nagy agrees to two-year deal with Destroyers

The Destroyers agreed to terms on a two-year contract with quarterback Matt Nagy. Terms were not disclosed.

It is unlikely defensive back Jerald Brown will be back with the Destroyers next season. If he does return, it probably would be at a much-reduced salary. Coming off a surprising 2006 season in which he was named the Arena Football League's defensive player of the year, Brown made a whopping $113,000 this season.

NEW YORK (AP) -- With the relocation of the Las Vegas franchise to Cleveland, the Arena Football League realigned its divisions.
The National Conference East will have five teams in 2008 with the addition of Cleveland, which joins Columbus, Dallas, Philadelphia and New York. The National South has Georgia, New Orleans, Orlando and Tampa Bay.
With Las Vegas leaving the American West, that division has Arizona, Los Angeles, Utah and AFL champion San Jose. In the American Central are Chicago, Colorado, Grand Rapids and Kansas City.

Destroyers' signing reunites receiver with quarterback

The Columbus Destroyers have signed free agent receiver Derek Lee, who had 326 receptions for 3,547 yards and 79 touchdowns in three seasons with the Georgia Force, where he played with Destroyers quarterback Matt Nagy in 2005 and 2006.
