Jarmo said they had no idea about Gaudreau when they made that signing... but I'm in denial that someone actually wanted to give that much money to Gud, so I choose to believe what you've said.

So bad. Elvis is terrible. Dude was five feet out of the net on the last goal. So far out that he gave the Avs an angle.

EDIT: They’ve battled back. Tie game. Laine with a goal and assist in front of his hometown.

Blown out again by the Avs, 5-1. That drops them to 3-9 & 6 points which ties them with STL (who have played 3 fewer games) for worst in the league.

During this 5 game losing streak, they've been outscored 28-8. :lol:

They just need to go all in on the "Suck Hard for Bedard" strategy. The defense & goaltending are so bad, there's 0.0 chance they're anything more than a speed bump this year.

They're the flu shits.

The 2023 NHL Draft is absolutely loaded at the top of the heap. Connor Bedard has been pegged as a generational player since he was 15, and has done nothing since to slow down that momentum. Adam Fantilli is probably the best NCAA freshman draft-eligible prospect since Jack Eichel. Matvei Michkov is a slippery KHL player that looks to be next in the line of dynamic Russian NHLers. And Leo Carlsson is a 6'3" center who is dominating the SHL as a 17-year-old.
