This team just isn't very good. Its early but that's what it looks like at the moment. Maybe trading PLD will be a positive shakeup but we will have to wait and see.
They'll probably pull the shit where they are bad until the last stretch of the year and starting winning, screwing up their draft position.

What I'm seeing:
1. Everything on offense tends to get pushed to the boards. No one except the 1998 Red Wings have ever gotten away with that, and the 2002 Wings were one of the greatest teams ever. Stop that shit and get the puck in the middle of the ice.
2. The defense seems to lack continuity.
3. Korpi has been good so far, Elvis not so much yet.
It's still early but the signs show me this is more like a .500 team than a playoff team.

Hard to believe that is the same team out there. The compete level was miles ahead of the first 5 games.

Considering they had pretty much no choice but to get rid of PLD. Them landing Laine and Roslovic is pretty incredible.
Figured we'd not have much leverage and get peanuts for him considering he clearly had quite on the CBJ.
