According to The Athletic's Aaron Portzline, the Columbus Blue Jackets and right winger Cam Atkinson have agreed to terms on a seven-year, $40.25 million contract extension.

No kidding....the Leafs are dangerous, but Boston as the third place team is sad. The Metro was stacked last year and both the Devs and the Isles look to be significantly better this year.

Yeah...Babcock's system relies on elite puck movement. Toronto doesn't have that quite yet, especially with their defensemen....that isn't to say they won't by the end of the year though.

That said, on bright spot is Shitzburgh looks awful and seems disinterested in playing defense. So there's that, at least....
