They've got a brutal stretch of games coming up...lots of road games, lots of Detroit. My fear is they will have a harder time stringing together points even at the current pace, which hasn't been good enough to stay in the top 8. Also, I'm concerned that they're losing all types of games...high scoring games, wide open games, and now even low scoring, 2-1 and 3-2 games. I haven't seen a type of game that they can try and play that is "their game" that they might be able to put a string together with. I just don't have a good feeling about the club right now because it doesn't seem like they have much to hang their hat on. Even the power play, which has been good, has let them down tonight, when they really need it.

i completely agree with you. i am not confident at all the way we are playing right now. boy, they just look flat and uninspired out their. hitch really needs to drop this "defensive minded" hockey that he is trying to brand here in columbus, because right now, we do not have the personnel to compete consistantly scoring 2-3 goals the way were playing defensively. i really hate to say this, but i am kind of losing hope in this team right now, and i dont really see this changing until they can turn this season around. well, look on the bright side, atleast nasher just put one in
