I will be making the trip out for the game in at the beginning of the season and myself and several other Huskie faithful will be looking for a place to hang out Friday night and possibly Saturday night as well. Basically we are looking for a good sports bar with plenty of TV's to watch other football games and good food and drinks . Got any recommendations?
Thanks guys and I look forward to a great game!

I guess I should add the requirement of a place that may not be the most popular place in town, but meets my prior requirements. :)

A place that gets a lot of business, but is big enough to handle it, is Gordon Biersch downtown. It will be less crowded than anywhere near campus. Since it's in the arena district, you could just wander around until you found a place that has what you're looking for.

Which one of the 3. Fairgrounds, Airport, or way out east. If you are staying at the one by the fairgrounds you may want to catch a cab over to Rooster's on either Olentangy or Henderson Rd. BW-3 has a few places around campus but those will be extremely busy. One is on High St. just off campus, another is on Bethel Rd North of Campus by about 5- 8 miles, Frog Bear wild Boar is a bar that has a number of TV's and that is where my friends and I watched the Fiesta Bowl. Also on Bethel Rd is the Winking Lizard and they have tons of TV's and they have like 20 Direct TV recievers so might be the best place to catch the most games.

honestly on game days in columbus you can't go anywhere that won't be packed with people watching the buckeyes. it just comes down to what crowd you want to be around. college crowd or the more mild off campus (aka non drunk tailgaiting students and alumni) crowd. btw? why do you want to go to a bar? you can probably scalp tickets for 50 bucks. games before the big ten season are always cheap and easy to get in to.
