mathematically, the odds of LSU being in the BCG CG in '11 (next time New Orleans hosts) is 1.5% (1/65 BCS teams)
I'd say that's decent odds that the Dome will be a neutral site.

Mathematically speaking it's still bullshit everyone should an equal chance whether its 1.5% like LSU or 0% like OSU

Are you suggesting Northwestern and Ole Miss have the same chance at being there that LSU has? :tongue2:

I won't argue with the premise that it is unlikely to happen again, but still....it's happened twice in 5 years, I don't know that you really have a argument that it is that far-fetched of an idea.

but if there are any changes to the method of determining the college national champion, I believe an attempt to remove the advantage of the Southern teams should be incorporated into that change.
Restrictor plates? Lead shoes?

They're just too fucking fast for us corn fed hillbillies from the north, Bill.

that is almost impossible to accomplish, unless the game rotates around between 65 different stadiums. How else would you even come close to making it a fair shot for all BCS teams to host?

All of the BCS Title locations are in warm weather, the "Sun Belt" is a common term to describe it, all the way to Arizona and California. I sure wasn't referring to the conference. You live in it, but didn't know what I meant - WTF right back at y'all. :wink2:

I got that, I just can't figure out why playing us in Arizona, i.e., "the Sunbelt" - brings us any sort of advantage over anyone from Big-10 country. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I knew that you weren't using the term as synonymous with God's Conference.

Well tell me how many NFL teams have played a super bowl at home huh? Maybe a schedule like that would fucking work, I don't know. Let's see the super bowl is 42 years old, the BCS is ten. There's never been a home game super bowl EVER! Your team has had two. Surely if we got the Los Alamos and MIT staff together put em in a room and kicked em in the ass they could come with a solution to this impossible dilemma.

I'll settle for a fuckin' blizzard.

God's ears to your driveway.

Seriously, given your complalint about the inability of nothern schools to create attractive year end bowl venues (:tongue2: here I paraphrase), what sites do you wish upon football fans for early January. Seriously. What cities and stadiums do you think would be good sites for future BCS games?

And do you want to see USC versus Miami playing in the snow? ( I know you guys want to play in weather conditions where the female fan's form is hidden under multiple layers of wool, instead of revealed in tank tops and short shorts as God intended...but I assure you that it is a regional preference.)

I guess you were reading too much into it, I didn't understand the 'WTF'. I conceded in an earlier post that the two BCS Title games that tOSU played in Arizona against teams from the state of Florida were neutral. Any reasonable person would - admittedly, that only includes me most of the time.

You mean like play in Florida, Louisiana, California, or Arizona (35 of 42 Super Bowls were played in these 4 states, plus 2 each in Texas and Georgia).

LSU, USC, UCLA, Miami, and Arizona State have a one-in-four chance of playing for the NC on their home field (well, LSU not quite "home field" but close enough). The other 115 I-A teams will never play for the NC on their home field. The fact that a team gets to play a game of that magnitude on their home field is a distinct and unfair advantage.

UCLA wishes it had chances that good.
