I am obviously biased. I am a Gator/SEC fan, etc. I do believe in settling issues on the field. It is the general consesus down here,-that a playoff would settle things once a for all. Teams with 3 losses in the SEC could even have a chance at a title,-when the teams they would be playing in the playoffs at worst couldn't be any tougher that what we already faced during the regular season. I pulled hard for tonights upsets,-so you guys could get in to face LSU or GA. I will admit it is fun to beat up on the big ten. Until more coaches like Zook that understand the type of players you need to compete at an elite level infiltrate the Big Ten,-it will just make the SEC look good by beating up on inferior players. I think your Tressel might be catching on as he secured the top linebacker out of the state of Florida.
My definition of a typical Big Ten player. Big, tough, strong, physical, extra water weight from a lack of humidity, on average .2 to .3 of a second slower than a player from the south. It isn't your fault,-you live in a climate that is not as condusive to producing as many elite athletes.
SEC player definition-Conditioned, fast, quick, strength and toughness are a given, speed, speed, speed. If you guys start getting the left over recruits from the south,-you midwesterners should be able to bring your programs up to SEC caliber.

We don't mind reasonable posters , as we have a lot of fans of other teams who post here. I see that you have already incurred the wrath of some bp'ers, as I would have done if I wasn't out for today but fear not because for we buckeye fans hope springs eternal.

Truth is I am glad you don't play our schedule. Tressel is a smart guy. It would only take him 3 or 4 years of adjustments in recruiting to make a huge difference. If it was rubbed in his face on a daily basis,-it would be an issue everyone up there would deal with. Since it is only a brief reminder during bowl season,-out of sight,-out of mind.
If the recruiting issue was fixed,-I couldn't give anyone from the Big Ten a hard time. That wouldn't be any fun. Seriously, I don't mean any disrespect. There seems to be a million and one buckeye fans that post on our sites. I figured I would return the favor...

You're absolutely right - Tressel has no luck recruiting in the south - let alone Florida - and has never beaten a "fast" team in a Championship game... your lifetime here will be short, methinks.

edit: oops, forgot this: :roll1:

Listen, genius. If you check the various power ratings, you will notice that Ohio State plays a tougher strength of schedule than Florida in about as many years as Florida plays a tougher schedule than Ohio State.

You are welcome to post here responsibly, but if you must keep up this penis envy game, you'll be gone very quickly.
