College Football Traditions Quiz

The song girls didn't look that stereotypical californian. And Washington State was in the background. (although there was a hint of Burgundy in the top)
Of course they were stereotypical Californian, because the only three poll options were USC, UCLA, and Cal! :p

The Nebraska player in the background is the reveal, though.

Same for me and missed the same question.......
I thought the only tradition KSU had was getting beat by Nebraska every year.....
Not true. Kansas State also has a tradition of playing not just one, but TWO FCS opponents every year since Bill Snyder [strike]re[/strike]built that program. At least it seems that way.

11/12; I remember hearing Dizzy Dean singing the Wabash Cannonball during the baseball game of the week (Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese were the announcers). I did know the Walbash Cannonball was a train and not a Burt Reynolds movie about a race. Isn't Walbash and Purdue both in Indiana? Who knew it was associated with a college football team in Kansas?

Indiana State also uses The Wabash Cannonball, but so do the Longhorns.

Really? That whole "Hayden Fry wanted the visitors locker room pink as a psychological advantage" thing has been mentioned in every single broadcast of an Iowa game for the past 20 years!
Damn, ya got me :) I don't catch too many Iowa games. When I do, they tend to be an upset, and I'm usually flipping between other games. I probably should have known, however.

I think that was Nebraska in the background. I remembered that USC had a home/away series with them recently...

Too pixelated for me to read the helmets. You could be right.
He would have been right if he had called it a home and home. Calling it a home/away series clearly makes him wrong. :tongue2:
