College Football Playoff (2015-16 Season)

Oh the irony if the Gators, UFM former team, defeats 'Bama opening the door for the Buckeyes !@#$%^&*

It could happen! ~ Judy Tenuta ... ok, ok, at least Florida has a better chance than the Charleston Southern Buccaneers!

Since the Buckeyes don't play tomorrow, just sit back and relax watching the chaos or lack thereof. And if by some miracle they get in, they'll have one less game against a quality opponent ie less wear and tear like Oklahoma.

Indeed, The Big 12 er little 10 should be disqualified. I digress.

Everything that has been said so far basically seems to be setting themselves up to move OSU into the top 4 with multiple options for reasons to do so, possibly regardless of what happens Saturday, the more that I hear.

I happen to think OSU is one of the top 4 teams in the nation, and, quite frankly, I don't even think it's even a question. That said, I have a hard time believing the committee would put OSU in the top 4 if Clemson and Alabama win tomorrow.

I don't think there's any way, they certainly wouldn't be able to justify it. Who gets left out? Its not gonna be Sparty/Iowa, not gonna be an undefeated Clemson

That leaves OU and Bama

Unless they want to make a cut throat statement to the Big 12 and leave OU out (which would lead to great comedy) don't see how it happens.

I hear you, but over a 1 loss Buckeye team? At what point does a team name alone get you in the playoff? If Clemson loses, do we get in? I think that is the crazy question.

One loss Ohio State who didn't reach their conference championship game versus one loss Alabama, SEC champs. I think you're kidding yourself if you believe we'd get in over them, and to be honest I think winning your conference should count for something. OSU lost the worst possible game on the schedule, unfortunately.

Well, second worst possible loss. :harbaugh:
