yes, the draft is tomorrow at 7:00 PM. I hope everybody is there. I don't want to do the draft with people missing. If somebody is missing, we have 3 choices. Draft without them and vote for the person they should get; reschedule the draft; draft without them and have them pick up 20 players from the pool of remaining players.

Are D/ST eligible for this, or just individual players? So if TGII returns a kick for a TD, do I get credit if I have TGII or the tOSU D or both?

good question. I've changed my mind about 12 times writing this post. Here are the options:

  • Option A: Change the D/ST to just D; Take out the blocked kick component from the scoring; Give all ST yardage and scoring to the individual.
  • Option B: Keep D/ST; Attribute all ST scoring to the ST unit; Individuals don't get points for ST play.
I don't want to do Option A because everybody will draft the players who are WR and KR/PR or RB and KR/PR. I don't want 3rd stringers who are also KR to skew the results.

I don't want to do Option B because that takes skill away from special players like Ted Ginn or Reggie Bush who are stars on both aspects of the game.

I think I'm going to do Option B. Anybody have any other ideas?

Really to me what is the difference between 11 & 12. I will still finish better than BN7 :p

Okay, I haven't had a chance to check the teams and players yet and get a list running.

Could someone please pm a list of their draft rankings? Actually, everybody just go ahead and do that.

Oh, and I am officially protesting the inclusion of the Big Least and Notre Shame.

I say option B. It might be difficult to track all of the individual stats of players on kick return duties... plus that is more research we have to do to draft players :)

Also, what dates correspond to each week of the schedule. You have Weeks 1-12, that of course means someone plays someone twice. We can always not do the first week of the season to kick out the easy games and huge stats and just play 11 weeks.

Also, no playoffs? Oh wait, I forgot this is fantasy COLLEGE football so we will have a poll to determine who the winner of our fantasy league will be? :biggrin:

hmmmm.

how should we handle playoffs? I added an extra week when doing the schedule by mistake, so take week 12 out. That would make scUM week the first round of the playoffs.....and any (relevant) big ten players would be done after that. should we just have the drafter dig his own grave when drafting big ten players?
