Has anyone noticed that Cowherd borrows a lot of his talking points from ESPN The Magazine? He was discussing the NFL draft yesterday, he pretty much quoted Todd McShay's article verbatim but presented it like it was his own words and ideas.

A wise man once said, "You are entitled to your own opinion; but you are not entitled to your own facts." CC knows the facts, they just aren't relevant to his schtick.

IMHO, ignoring the facts as he does is worse than straight up lying. At least in a lie, your are acknowledging that there is an underlying truth. Cowherd's relationship with the truth is even more tenuous than that. He simply doesn't care about it.

Cowherd is nothing more than an egotistical pot stirrer who's managed to create ratings using that schtick..........so congrats to him for knowing how to push buttons.

I agree, I think his ratings on 1460/97.1 The Fan are slipping and he is stirring the pot to bring people back. It's sad too because inevitably a Buckeye fan will take the bait and call in only to be made an ass of. Never be fooled by these radio personalities it's all about the ratings, everything they say is tied to that reason.

I actually hear this guy complimenting the Buckeyes a decent amount. Seems like whenever I turn him on he says something positive.

Not defending his ridiculous comments, because he makes plenty of those. Like the one above.

Cowherd is talking about the CFB Conferences and was just pimping the B10 in a major way. Just said that Ohio State and Penn State are powerhouses. Iowa and Wisconsin have been very strong in recent years, and that Michigan is on the rebound. Then he got all high pitched voice and spit all over his mic saying "AND THEN THEY GO AND ADD NEBRASKA!!!???!?!" - Then he laughed at the B12 and said Oklahoma and Texas won't have to play a road game all season and that whoever wins the Red River Rivalry should just be put in the NC game. He included USC in that saying Lane Kiffin woke up this morning with a BIG sigh of relief saying they are in the same position as UT/OK in that they don't have to play anyone in their conference. Said SEC and B10 are by far the two best conferences now.

I would agree with him. Ohio State is a legit NC contender this year. We have Iowa, Wisconsin, and Penn State behind us, who are going to be good, maybe very good. I still think the SEC is the best with LSU, Florida, and 'Bama all with an NC last decade (god that hurts). Nebraska is just going to strengthen an already solid conference and Ohio State will benefit from it in the long run.
