Futuristic stuff is a huge turnoff for me unless it's a sci-fi game like Mass Effect. Not that there's really anything else they could've done to get my interest.. but that killed any chance.

I bought it, only because I play it with a buddy of mine from childhood on a weekly basis. I suck something fierce in shooter games, but it's fun to drink and run around with guns (virtually of course).

the BOps2 commercial they ran with twelve players all ambushing each other with gadgets was pretty fitting. Not one of them used a gun.

Just did about 1 hour while waiting on dinner. (Damn it woman, if I wanted to wait I'd go to Denny's, not get married! J/k)

It was a lot of fun. Guns have a different feel, definitely doesn't seem as cheesy, didn't run into as many killstreaks and so on. The sound was pretty awesome, and they killed knifing. Unless you are right behind the guy, your knife won't do shit. A much needed improvement.

All in all, it's definitely "surprised" me like COD4 back when, and it feels fresh/fun again. I'll spend plenty of time with friends on this one after work.
