• James Franklin (Penn State): Fired on October 12, 2025.
• Trent Bray (Oregon State); Fired October 12, 2025.
• Sam Pittman (Arkansas): Fired in early October 2025.
• Mike Gundy (Oklahoma State): Fired in late September 2025.
• DeShaun Foster (UCLA): Fired in September 2025 after an 0-3 start to his second season.
• Brent Pry (Virginia Tech): Fired in September 2025.
• Troy Taylor (Stanford): Fired before the season began, following allegations of mistreating staff.

I’m beginning to think that the more money we shovel into college sports, the more money athletic departments will lose chasing a limited supply of coaches and athletes.
