The Tech job is basically Brent Venables if he wants it. The AD there is his best friend - and was his roomie and teammate at KSU back in the day.

The Willie Taggert experiment at Free Shoes is toxic right now, with people posting stuff on Twitter about lynching the head football coach.

I know Bob Davie is an old dude, and a horrible head coach, but dude can coach D. I'd think that if he still wanted to coach, he'd be a top notch coordinator somewhere.

Do Lovie and Helton belong on this list right now? Both their schools went full retard and supported them....they should have an AD's Hot Seat ranking...

Don't think Chip Kelly should be on this list at all...he's in year one of his return to CFB, trying to un-f**k what Mora did to that team.

Davie just had his own conduct issues and suspension...I don’t think anyone of note will touch him

The last 2 NFL and CFB hiring cycles have been interesting.
Gruden, Edward, Les, Mack ... the unimaginative circular hiring is impressive. It's weird to me that there is very little upward mobility for HCs in football. You could hire somebody whose proven to be decent as a Head Coach at a lower level... or hire yet another Coordinator whose only proven they're good at doing a completely different job for the 20th time... or hire a retread that's been out of the business for years..

When I was a tween I used to watch Fritz the Nite Owl and Nite Owl Theatre on WBNS with my mom after Carson went off air. Fritz was Columbus' very own Elvira and MST3K, with a smooth jazz soundtrack.

Saw Ice Pirates twice because of Fritz. It was hilarious even when I was 11. The time warp scene is burned into my brain.
