Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Not that I think CSU is the one (though he was there in the Bruce years?) ... but I could see him going to a Mid Major, FCS, or even lower Division school in a year or three. Depending what else is going on in his life and how well he's doing medically.
Somewhere the expectations are low, his salary is just a bonus, ... but he stays connected to the College game. Seems to me, recruiting was his favorite part and he enjoyed being in that mentor role.
Problem is, wherever he goes... people will make expectations.

I stand by my theory that he isn't taking any head coaching job unless he can get the Marotti, Pantoni, Voltilini triumvirate to come with him. Those guys won't follow him to a mid-major, and I honestly don't think they'd follow him to a prestige job either at this point. I strongly suspect that working for Day is a bit less stressful than working for Urban. If Day takes a pro job, then maybe something happens or maybe a refreshed Urban even jumps back in the OSU saddle

I dont think he'd need them for a retirement gig at a midmajor or FCS school. The kind of place he could employ Bill Davis and it wouldnt matter.
I just dont see him being satisfied with tv... maybe the Fox Pregame vs Gameday thing will keep him competitively engaged, but there's no recruiting / mentorship.

Fort Collins is a really really really nice town. However, here is a picture of the crowd this past week in CSU's brand new stadium. Ugh.

Hardly. 220 mil for that bad boy.

Didn't they already have 150mil for renovating the stadium in middle of nowhere?
The difference seems to have come from naming rights to stadium, field, party area, and the University of Florida.
I thought the original plan was to build on the intramural fields... but now it's behind Chemistry. Trying to remember what used to be there.
