Doubt it. The commentary here has been mostly WTF UT. The contingency plan though seems to be go after Sumlin or promote Jim Leavitt. The real fear is losing the recruiting class--their best ever.

As a continuation——tOSU as big of a blue blood as there is, had the confidence in Tressel to pull the trigger. Now he had a history of success but that was a pretty damn big jump. I thought Nebraska should have hired Bohl ... he hasn't turned Wyoming into a power per se but solid improvement after FCS success. Instead they went with the "safe" hire of an underwhelming coach. No ambition in Lincoln.

All this should teach us not to take our coaching stability for granted. We are literally two bad hires away at all times from becoming a Tennessee or a Nebraska or a scum

Ohio will always have a solid talent base. We're 2 bad hires away from being LSU... baseline for Ohio State, Louisiana State, and Georgia should always be 8 wins. Anything less than that needs serious soul searching and answers.

Florida hires Dan Mullen - upgrade over the piss-toothed shark humper
Miss. St hires Moorhead - obviously have to wait and see how he is as a HC, but looks like a damn solid hire
A&M hires Jimbo Fisher - upgrade over Sumlin

LSU hires Ed fucking Orgeron - would only be considered an upgrade if he had replace John L. Smith (which he did not).

Still remains to be seen who Arky hires.
Not gonna be easy to do worse than Bert the Blimp, but this is Arkansas we talking about so damn near anything is possible.

we don't play Tennessee very often, so not worried about them other than the entertainment value they are currently providing.

We were only counting the days that Riley would be moving out of the state. He was like a displaced refugee....we liked him, but he started eating up all our food, using all our utilities, and wasn't putting anything back into the fridge, or paying any of the bills. So he had to go.
