Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Major Applewhite was hanging around Ohio State practices a couple years ago and has been running the Meyer/Herman offense masterfully at Houston. He may need a landing spot if he's blocked from going to UT with Herman.
I'm tellin yall unless something has changed he's gonna take a lot of work to get him back at Tejas because of the Bev Kearny situation she was fired for Coach/Athlete relationship, Applewhite was allowed to continue working after his Coach/Trainer relationship became public.. also the matter of Cleve Bryant, Mack's right hand man

Found this interesting regarding PJ Fleck
OregonLive.com's John Canzano, who is reporting Oregon's interest in Schiano, wrote this on Wednesday morning:

"Schiano would be a course correction for Oregon. His defense wouldn't be generous. He has experience coaching in the NFL and in major college football. He won 11 games once at Rutgers, and according to a source involved in the hiring process at Oregon, 'According to his peer groups, he's one of the best.'

"Oregon will want to talk with a lot of coaches. Western Michigan's PJ Fleck may be among them. So may Boise State's Bryan Harsin. A college source familiar with Fleck told me Tuesday, 'I think if PJ gets in front of Phil, he will get this job.' But given that Meyer would be Knight's dream pairing with Oregon, the next best thing feels like Ohio State's right-hand man, Schiano."
