By Kirk Bohls | Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 10:12 AM
Former Texas assistant football coach Tim Brewster may return to coaching after a year as a Fox Sports sideline reporter and has been offered positions on the new staffs of Urban Meyer at Ohio State and Rich Rodriguez at Arizona, the Statesman has learned.F
It?s not certain which positions he?s being considered for.
Brewster, a star recruiter for Mack Brown before he took a job with the San Diego Chargers and then the Denver Broncos, served as the head coach for the Minnesota Gophers for three-plus seasons. Under Brewster, the Gophers went 15-30 but did have a winning season in 2008 with a 7-6 mark. He took Minnesota to two bowl games, losing the Insight Bowl twice.
