As for Masterson, well...figures. Looked like an ace last year, comes slamming back to his 2009-10 form.

I've seen Masterofnone pitch at Regressive Field at least a dozen times since we got him from Boston. Tonight's game was simply a total trainwreck and one of his worst games.
Diaz bobbled the transfer on a DP grounder in the first that would have gotten Masterofnone out of the inning with no runs. Instead, the Royals got an extra out. From that point on it seemed like about 1 out of every 3 of his pitches would completely miss the target, sometimes by over a foot. Felt sorry for Carlin; he spent a lot of time diving and chasing balls that went way more than a bit outside!
