That probably depends on the injury situation. If they can stay reasonably healthy, 75-80 wins is within reason. If it's anything like last year, forget it...90-95 losses are certain.buckeyemania11;2134225; said:I dont expect much from this team either.
one thing they have going for them though is that minus Detroit, the other 3 teams in the division are pretty damn [Mark May]ty....so they might be able to limp dick their ways to a 2nd place finish again
Sweet Jesus. I thought OhSportsFan was just floating his name. I didn't know this was legit...buckeyemania11;2134226; said:Bobby Abreu???? a 38 year old washed up slugger....woot woot.

The Indians are close to dealing outfielder Trevor Crowe, report Jon Paul Morosi and Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (Twitter link). Crowe was pulled from a minor league game earlier today, though the trade has not yet been finalized, Morosi adds. It is unknown if Crowe could be going to the Angels as part of another impending Tribe deal involving Bobby Abreu.
At least we may get something in return for him. I had him pegged as a minor league body or DFA candidate...buckeyemania11;2134239; said:another Indians draft dud on his way out

Crowe was the Indians 1st round pick in 2005 (#14 overall) and has managed a .245 AVG with 3 HR 55 RBI and 29 SBs in 205 MLB games (713 plate appearances)

He played mostly DH last year. I doubt he's much more than an average fielder at this point, but he does have a gold glove, and still has enough speed to steal 20 bases last year, so he can't be that bad. Certainly no worse than Duncan offensively or defensively.Bucklion;2134252; said:It's no secret Abreu is [censored]ed as [censored] at the Angels, because now that Morales is healthy he has nowhere to play but DH, and they like his bat a lot more than Abreu's. He could bring us a .221 average, 12 homers, 44 Rbis, and maybe half a dozen steals in 300 plate appearances. TITLES
Yeah. Fortunately, Antonetti appears to put more stock in the draft than they have in the past. So hopefully the days of almost all of our 1st rounders washing out in AA-ball are over.Bucklion;2134254; said:What's that, a case of turtle wax and a rack of bats? I imagine we'll get someone in A ball or Abreu for him...which means we have diddlesquat to show for yet another first rounder. The Veikune syndrome strikes again.
