Actually it's only 7 as San Francisco won it in 2012 and 2014.Since 2008, 8 different teams have won the WS and no team has won back to back. Just sayin......

I used to think that was a good argument. But outside of Kansas City (and they immediately lost it) which of those winners had to dump salary?

Small market teams are at a decided disadvantage and always will be until something is done. The other leagues you quoted have some sort of cap.
