Well, we do have that speedster in center field who worked with a spring coach during the fall. Perhaps he should have been working with a batting coach or possibly even a bunting coach. I do not care how much speed he has if he cannot get on base what the hell good is it.

Speaking about the batting averages in Columbus, the Indians only have 2 guys batting over 250 and one of them is Perez who is only playing because of the injury to Gomes and you are correct when you mentioned that the pitching is probably suffering because he is not catching.

Captain Hamstring? What doesn't impress you.. Is it the .200 AVG, the 2 extra base hits, the 1 SB in 50 ABs (on pace for all of, what, 10?)...or maybe it that .265 OBP for a leadoff hitter...40 points less than Jay Bruce, wh is hitting .190
