The Orioles declined options on Markakis and Nick Hundley. I don't think Markakis will get away, but I could see you guys signing Hundley just for the lulz.

Oh, and Francona signed an extension, but it is contingent on Shapinnetti not being fired...if one goes, he is free to leave. Because, you know, when you assemble a power team like that, how could you ever break them up?

3 different Cy Young winners in the last 8 seasons. That's actually pretty impressive. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

Its something... by the middle of the season his starts were about the only ones I made it a point to watch... and it was worth watching most of the time. When he was on, he was just toying with fools some of the time.

Bull went off last night because they were on air at the end of their show when the announcement was made, and he immediately got like 5 calls and 10 tweets of "So which crappy prospects are we trading him for?"
