At yesterday's game with a family group. Hey...... It was a nice, very warm and sunny day. Or as Herb Score used to say, "A beautiful day for baseball." Note Herb didn't say it was a day for beautiful baseball.

But let's keep it positive today. The family members who took a bunch of amped up 4 to 7 year olds to the new kids playground area gave it high praise. Said the only negative was the a/c was not working and the temperature by the slide was almost suffocating. But in spite of that the Indians employees working with the screaming kids in there were upbeat and didn't complain when given the chance!

My son in law and I declared the new CF bar area a nice addition too. The place was full the entire game (announced crowd of 16,000) and most of the fans were having a fantastic time in spite of the Tribe being behind the entire game. Vast majority of the fans hanging out there were in the 20s and 30s age group. Craft beer selection there is one of the best of anyplace I've been, in or out of a stadium. Prices were comparable to any halfway nice bar. Couple of the servers we talked with seemed well trained and able to answer questions about the beers they were selling.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, TRIBE FANS!!

Thanks for that report. I was wondering about their attempts to make that place more "fan friendly". The way the guys are trying to play a game called baseball they might as well turn the whole damn Stadium into a playground/bar. At least in that regard, it may be of some benefit to the people who go there. By the way, you forgot a food report:)
