Cleveland Indians (2013 Season)

Santana is 5-5 today and is hitting .500 after 6 games...not too shabby! Seems much more relaxed farther down the lineup.

I think part of it, we put so much pressure on him to be the big slugger for the past two years. Now that we have a few guys that can hit the long ball, it takes some pressure off him. They were talking about it on the broadcast today. Hopefully he can continue this trend

I think it is going to be like this all season. Feast or famine. It would have been nice to see some of those runs on Friday and Saturday. Carrasco covering to pitch on Tuesday against the Yankees. It would be very nice if you would have a good outing.
That's what I expect, given the amount of whiffs we can expect this year...

Wasn't Swisher originally a catcher when he first came into to pro baseball after Ohio State? Now with the Indians he is a 1st baseman. Maybe i am all wrong here, but i thought i seen him catching, when he played for the Yankees.

No clue on Nick, but his dad was a catcher.

First set I ever collected was the 1981 Topps.

To be honest, I regret every day of collecting baseball cards even though I had some great ones (still do) and lots of fun doing it at the time. Wish I never gave up coin collecting when I was a kid. I remember thinking $5 coins were pricey back then that sell for $500 now. . . . .

He's never played C at the ML level. He's played OF and occasionally 1B throughout his career.
