Hey, is it his fault that Tito expected him to pitch the same day he had to go to Court early in the morning? Is it his fault that he nearly fainted in a "big" game against a contender? Or was he merely doing what ANY fan who has watched him pitch the past few years KNEW with 110% certainty he WAS going to do? It was his nature, Karma, his destiny......whatever you wanna call it. But that dog just ain't gonna learn no new tricks....and he done did the only trick he really knows. And while we're on this topic,, how is that the Perez dog got off scott free?

This news is a few weeks old, but I didn't see it here yet. The Marte Parte continues:

The Angels have signed infielder Andy Marte to a minor league deal, according to York Revolution play-by-play announcer Darrell Henry (Twitter link). Marte, 29, once ranked as a one of the game's top 10 prospects, according to Baseball America, and was hitting .301/.367/.526 with 19 homers in 96 games for the Revolution in the Atlantic League.

3 1/2 back as we cruise (seemingly.....) into the easiest stretch of the season. Still don't think we make it but hey, at least it's September and we can still discuss the possibilities.

23 games.....in reality, we're chasing Tampa who has 24 games left. They end with....

@SEA/BOS/@MIN/TEX/BALT/@NY/@TOR

Definitely a tougher run as they will be playing 4 teams in the hunt as opposed to our 0 (sorry KC). TB is 3-8 in their last 11 and their starters have hit the wall.

My prediction is we miss out by 1 game in typical Cleveland fashion....any other predictions?

Welp 1 game out of the Wildcard....

Today they face Dice K....who is 0-3 with a 10.95 ERA 2.11 whip and .365 BAA

this is the type of game where they LOVE to get absolutely baffled by a god awful pitcher
