Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

 what coach lets a pitcher giver up 14 runs :slappy:

Well the guy who started had to leave with arm trouble after like 1/3 of an inning or something, so in order to avoid blowing out the bullpen I imagine he had to be a sacrificial lamb tonight in long "relief". I bet behind closed doors the guy gets thanked rather than sent down in this case.

It might sound crazy, but when he's hitting his spots, he reminds me a lot of a young Greg Maddux. Not gonna overpower anybody, but he's "crafty". Now, whether he can hit his spots as consistently Maddux remains to be seen, and I doubt it...not many ever have. But he still can be a very solid ML pitcher.

Oh how awesome that would be.

Imagine a rotation of CC, Cliff Lee, and Greg Maddux part II.

Damnit.. :(

Actually, fuck being sad about not having two Cy Young winners. Who needs them when you have Josh Tomlin and Justin Masterson? :banger:

The Royals apparently disagree:

Not agreeing or disagreeing, but they might have sent him down since he probably overused his arm last night and they know they'll need a fresh reliever in the next day or two. Probably wouldn't hurt to get him a couple good outings at AAA to get his confidence back.
