1. you never deliberately put the winning run on base in the 9th. if nothing else, ocab has been ridiculously clutch this year.

2. wedge should have left fister in. the indians couldn't hit him.

Hafner has sort of trending downward in the last couple weeks. He hasn't homered since April 17th. Cabrera has been ridiculously clutch all year and entered yesterday hitting something like .315 in his last 14.

Of the 6 games i've gone to this year, we are 5-1 with 3 walk off wins in the bottom of the 9th. The last 3 i've gone to have been walkoffs (Hafner, Ocab, and Santana).

Last night was so much fun, especially with there being 33k + (but honestly it looked damn near full...just eyeballing the stadium I would have guessed close to 40k).

With Saturday's rainout, there's time for an update on our favorite (Indianapolis) Indian Andy Marte:

Appearing in 26 games for the Pirates' AAA affilate, Marte is hitting .154 with 2 HR and 8 RBI. Over his last 10 games, he's "hitting" a measly .103 with 0 HR, 1 RBI, 8 SO and 1 BB. Coincidently, his season split with runners on is also .103. Don't you miss him?
