Quick Hits: The Cleveland Indians have won four in a row, and at 12-4 are tied with the Colorado Rockies for the best record in the majors. Let’s focus in on the most surprising team of the season’s first few weeks.

• According to Elias, this is the 1st time the Indians have had the best record in the majors this late in the season since the end of 2007, when they ended the season tied with the Boston Red Sox for the best mark in MLB (both 96–66).

• After sweeps of the Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles, the Indians are 6-0 against the AL East. Last season, Cleveland was just 17-24 against teams in that division.

• Indians’ starting pitchers have 13 quality starts. The last AL team with more quality starts through 16 games? The 1991 Indians with 14.

Doesn't make much sense to me either...especially in a game against the team you're currently battling with for 1st place.

At this point this game is a glorified forfeit...might as well keep them sat and let Durbin finish it, and go gen 'em tomorrow night.

Relax guys, it's not a big deal that we are getting crushed tonight. Chen owned us last year and Acta knows it. Sizemore will ease back into it and Hafner is just getting a breather. This isn't even our B or C lineup... It's our D lineup. We will come back with Grady leading off tomorrow and LaPorta at first. No worries. We are OK.

Like I said yesterday, Choo and Santana need to wake up...and soon. We're getting to the point where the "it's early" excuse is gonna run out. It's not a big deal right now because we're getting production from elsewhere, including unexpected places, but having the #3/4 hitters batting .204/.193 is going to become an issue. Take away opening day and Santana has essentially been Marson 2010 redux.

Well, we scored 2 in the top half of the inning (Though we shoulda held at 3rd instead of getting thrown out by a mile at home). 5-2 and Durbin has pitched pretty well surprisingly.

Let's see if we can pick apart this KC bullpen.
