I think he'll be alright, or at least acceptable in the corner, just too much ground to cover in CF. Half the time he looks like he doesn't know where to break on the ball. It's fucking scary every time a ball is sent out there.

Man, I didn't realize just how stacked Columbus is this year. Chisenhall is off to a bit of a slow start, but I'm sure he'll come around. Phelps and Kipnis are both hitting well...all three of them could be ML ready come September, if not sooner.

White and Gomez are looking good. I think Gomez gets the first call if somebody in the rotation falls apart or gets hurt. White might get a shot later this summer.

There's a lot of talent in Akron too. Then we have some exciting kids from last years draft class, lead by Pomeranz who is just smoking right now.

Future really does look bright...and on top of that, we have a team playing really solid ball in April. Even if it doesn't hold up, there's a lot of kids to watch that will be making an impact in Cleveland in the next year or two.

Thome and Russell Branyan are 2 guys I remember starting off as 3rd basemen. http://www.ohio.com/sports/indians/119901264.html
With Hannahan coming back to earth, this doesn't surprise me. However, if they're still in decent shape come June and the lack of production still isn't an issue, I hope they hold off...unless he's absolutely tearing AAA apart, which he hasn't been so far (.211-1-8).

I'm also interested to see what they do with Cord Phelps and Kipnis. Both are hitting pretty well in C-Bus. That infield is absolutely loaded. That may actually be their thinking, to bring up Chis so the other guys can play. Right now, they're basically rotating Phelps-Kip-Valbuena. All three should be playing everyday. Phelps (.361-2-9) and Kipnis (.313-0-4) because they may very well be legit everyday players at the ML level and Valbuena (.367-1-4) because he might be able to eek out a utility infielder type career.

Who are you hoping for NF? I'd like to see Gomez but i wouldn't be suprised if they decide to subject us to Huff again, lol.
Give me Gomez, and that's who I think it'll be taking Talbot's turn Tues as Gomez pitched Thurs, Huff last Tues, so that would be close to his (Gomez) turn in C-Bus. I'm not a Huff fan at all. He's just the next in line of the Tribe's token batting practice pitchers on the AAA shuttle after Sowers and Laffey.

Huff is listed as the starter for Columbus today so it looks like it's gonna be Gomez. It's early but Gomez has pitched much better than Huff so far this year.

Brantley is getting the day off today so I can understand Sizemore leading off. However, when both are in the lineup, I'd rather see Brantley in the leadoff spot. I think the 7 spot would be good for Sizemore and let him work his way up. Here is the lineup I'd like to see:

1. Brantley (L)
2. Cabrera (S)
3. Choo (L)
4. Santana (S)
5. Hafner (L)
6. O. Cabrera (R)
7. Sizemore (L)
8. LaPorta (R)
9. Hannahan (L)

I'd expect them to swap Grady and OCab there if Grady's not staying in the leadoff spot.
