He absolutely was, but he has been fantastic in C-bus this year, so I guess he's earned another shot. I actually agree keeping Kipnis down until he's REALLY needed (if he is this season) until his defense improves...well, not that that necessarily matters with the butchers we have populating the IF (and OF) lately anyway, but...yeah. Might as well wait until he's as close to a finished product as possible.

Chisenhall is listed as day to day, and Soloff said the rookie third baseman could play this weekend, or immediately following the All-Star break, at the worst. Soloff said Chisenhall's injury will not require surgery.
