Tough year obviously but early returns on the Naylor trade are looking good. I know Santana wasn't part of the deal but may as well have been since they effectively repurposed Naylor's salary to add him.

Cleveland selected power hitting OF prospect Jace Laviolette out of Texas A&M #27 in the 1st round

Needless to say our luck with "power hitter" prospects has been very bad lately. Hopefully we finally get one who can break that trend. Good value at 27 though as a lot of mocks had him 20th or 21st. Was projected to go much higher before having a down year in his Junior year this past season.

They need to keep rolling another week and a half and see where they are. There was a 25ish game soft/games you need to able to win stretch and so far they have been good.

Of course. We've had terrible luck when it comes to supposed high level hitting prospects for awhile now. They either just end up sucking or get plagued by injuries.
