Cleveland Guardians (2022 AL Central Champs)

Remember the 2021 offense? This one is better 1 thru 3 (Straw, Kwan, Ramirez) IF Kwan is legit. But 4 thru 9 and the bench? At best that bunch is about the same. They can hit back of the rotation starters and weaker bullpens but will struggle against front line pitching. Like this weekend they’re going to score a bunch once and a while and play close most other games (because their pitching should be good enough to slow most other offenses).

Lose 97 games like NFBuck predicts? I’m more optimistic than that. I’m guessing 80 to 84 wins.

Kwan at minimum from what Hes shown in the minors before and these first couple of games at least has a sense of plate discipline. That’s more than could be said for most last year.

Pump the brakes. He doesn't get to play the fuck ass, suck hole, my mom was the town whore and my dad was the town retard who found a nickel, Reds every game the rest of the way.

I dunno, the Non-White Sox Al Central seem a lot like the offspring of a blind squirrel and a nickel whore.

Interesting thing about the Induardians is, if they can figure out some minor semblance of an wu offense they might still be playing meaningful games in August. I understand its deeply opposed to the current metrics of "HOW THINGS WORK" but you give Tito guys like Straw, Kwan, and find one more trouble maker and he's actually quite good at pressuring other teams into mistakes and stealing one here and there. I know they don't have enough power... at all... but as to maybe some competence at spots that were black holes last year I think there are fewer. Andres Gimenez is still only 23. Now, I doubt Bradley, Yu Chang or Mercado are going to show us much we haven't seen, so I suppose that's why we're going to see guys mixed in to those slots... But hey, they spent a few bucks in the off season as I watched the moths fly out of the Dolan's change purse.

Main thing is, people need to go to games, I admit to not having been for while, and I will make it a priority this year.
