True. But Civale just seemed like a bad call no matter how you shake it, Guy hasn't pitched in 2 weeks and the Yankees have jumped all over him when they faced him this season. Recipe for disaster.

The reality is the rain delay yesterday pissed away a huge advantage in bullpen rest, in what likely was going to be a reasonably wild game.

Welp, it was a fun season and I can't wait to see what next year has in store for this young group.

Always a treat watching October baseball in Cleveland, and I'm proud of how far and how much a team of rag-tags accomplished when nobody believed they would.

edit: Obligatory - Fuck the Yankees. They're right behind *ichigan and the Pistons for me in hate pecking order. While I'm at it, fuck Johnathon Paplebon (not even going to spell check it) too.
