Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

it will be mildly hilarious if kris humphries' refusal to take a one year guaranteed deal results in dwight howard being stuck outside of brooklyn, especially when howard and humphries have the same agent.

good for the cavs telling everyone to kiss their ass, let someone else pay humphries $9 million per just to push his own teammates out of the way to inflate his rebound numbers.

Going to be fun to watch. All the games are starting around 8pm est. I'm assuming they will be on NBA tv.

I'm glad the Howrd deal with Brooklyn fell through. I see the Nets will now try to keep Lopez, Kardashian and Brooks.

Go pound salt, Howard.

Williams, Johnson, Brooks, Kardashian, and Lopez isn't a bad lineup. Probably better than Williams, Johnson, D-League, D-League, Howard for half a season coming off back surgery. I don't watch many Nets games, but wasn't Lopez the #1 pick? I thought he was one of the the better centers in the league.

brook lopez is incredibly soft. he might get you 16-18 ppg from the center spot, which is quite good, but his rebounding numbers are poor at best and he's not a good defender.

for how that team is constructed, with scorers at the pg and sg spots, and a stretch 4 euro that is a huge ? on the boards and on defense, lopez really isn't a great fit.

what's really puzzling is why the nets want to do a sign and trade with cleveland for antawn jamison.

Hawg, don't forget Gerald Wallace. As far as Lopez, at least he's betterthan his brother. He was a first round pick, but he wasn't the #1 pick, if that's what you were asking.

They're going to have a decent team as they're currently constructed but still not a team that can beat the Heat of the Celtics.

I'm not sure either about the s+t with the Cavs for Jamison. I suppose they can give him more money but the only possible thing the Cavs would want in return is cash or draft picks, or both.

nets would have to send back some salary to make it work since they're over the cap. so, one of their young guys and some sort of draft picks. so, it's an odd sort of deal if it were to happen.

The best thing is that the Cavs hold the cards. They don't have to do anything if they don't want.

By the way, did any of you guys watch Irving playing against the Olympic team? He looked very good.
