This is probably the best TEAM the Cavs have had since the pre Lebron era. So much more fun when you don't know who is going to have the big game, but you are pretty sure someone will. IIRC Garland had a pretty bad rookie year, but started to figure it out in year 2. Okoro seems to be trending in that direction. The Cavs have to be one of teams that you really don't want to play right now because you know you need to be on your game or they'll run you out of the gym.

Read an article yesterday about how the Rockets could have been the Cavs. They didn't want Allen last year in the Harden trade and they passed on Mobley in the draft. I wonder if Kevin Porter Jr. regrets being a bitch about his locker last year or if it was addition by subtraction.

The comparison of the Rockets vs the Cavs and what might have been may be mostly true, but you also have to factor in the coach. J.B Bickerstaff also deserves at least some credit for how this team has performed so far. He's the one that got the entire team to buy in to the "team" concept and to emphasize defense.

Coach of the Year unless they completely collapse second half. Even the bench dominate when they come in.

Mobley, Okoro and Sexton so it's not like the Cavs are close to 100% right now either. Mobley is the glue, but Okoro was really coming along before he got on the Covid list.
