We lost this game because we gave Golden State a layup line all night. A large percentage of that's on JR Smith. Half of the players Golden State's had on the floor can't shoot.

I can't understand why Lue didn't tell them to just guard the paint. Leave Green, Iguodala, McGee, West, Bell, and Livingstone open outside of 15 feet. It's not rocket science.

Glad Durant can play mediocre ball for 2 games while the 3 other all stars carry him, and then decide when to turn it on and act like this is his team and his title. Reality is you're an amazing scorer who choked over and over again on your own team and had to run to a 73 win squad to do anything in the playoffs. And if that sounds like sour grapes, it's because it is, but I don't give a damn, because fuck Durant. He took the full douche move that LeBron pulled in 2010, doubled it, and doesn't get a 1/10th of the shit he deserves for it.

The best part about the AAU Warriors, is Green, Thompson, and Durant (I’m pretty sure he took a pay cut to stay with the Warriors) could all easily be making max money, while still competing for championships on strong teams, but they won’t. They’ll continue to take cuts to solidify their “legacies” as NBA “Greats”.


Also, Steph Curry making $35 million is an absolute joke. He’s due to make $45mil in 2021-22... :lol: He’s making nearly $10m more than Durant. Then again, George Hill is making $20m a year, so the NBA is one fucked up mess.

We had a good decade of quality for the Cavs... but I suspect the next decade will be rebuild/rebuild/rebuild and we won't see the finals for a LONG time.. may not even sniff the playoffs...
Without LeBron Cleveland will not be a team good players will come at a discount for their twilight years

Maybe the Browns will relieve the misery...

This. We will always have 2016. 4 straight finals and a Championship is all we will get. Better than most.
