Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

To commemorate the sweep.

At least Philly did Cleveland a favor and won a game to give the cavs an extra two days off.

Best case, Philly gets one more win (Wednesday), then Boston closes it out in 6 on Friday.

Series would start Sunday, so they have a quick turnaround. Game 2 Tuesday, than 3 days rest before Saturday Game 3 at home. If it somehow goes 7 games, the ECF goes Tues/Thurs/Sat to start.

Game 1 -- Sun. May 13, Cleveland at Boston/Philadelphia, 3:30 p.m., ABC OR Tue. May 15, 8:30 p.m. ESPN

Game 2 -- Tue. May 15, Cleveland at Boston/Philadelphia, 8:30 p.m., ESPN OR Thu. May 17, 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Game 3 -- Sat. May 19, Boston/Philadelphia at Cleveland, 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Game 4 -- Mon. May 21, Boston/Philadelphia at Cleveland, 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Game 5 * Wed. May 23, Cleveland atBoston/Philadelphia, 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Best best case, my opinion was facing Philly. They were a joke to me. That win streak was on the backs of tanking teams. They are so easy to gameplan against- Celtics aren’t doing anything any other playoff team wouldn’t do.

Celtics are a better version of Pacers- athletic on the perimeter and Stevens will push a physical game like them. They won’t be soft physically/mentally like the Raps. Little surprised how some Cavs fans are so welcoming of this matchup.

Luckily Horford is slow and not a rim protector against Bron. If Love carries his game, the Cavs can run them off the floor on offense like Toronto. Plus...LeBron.

Updated after Boston's win last night.

Also, don't forget to watch and see if the Cavs have a horseshoe up their ass again when the lottery takes place on Tuesday night before Game 2! 8D

So the Raptors fire the coach of the year because he can't beat Lebron, when there is no guarantee Lebron will even be in Cleveland next year. They'll look pretty silly if Lebron ends up going out west and they hire the one coach looking for a job that has shown the ability to slow down Lebron.

Feel free to give the Cavs brass a call if they want to hire Lue. I'm sure they would be happy to work out a deal.

At the beginning of the year, I thought LeBron would be playing for either Cleveland or Los Angeles next season. I thought Philadelphia, Houston, and San Antonio became more likely as the year went on, but now I'm back to the Cleveland/LA theory. I think the Cavs could probably land Paul George or Kawhi if they got creative enough, but the other basketball situations are so unsavory that the 8th pick may be enough to keep him.

For the record, I still think there's about a 75% chance that he leaves, but that's much lower than the 95% certainty I was living with a month ago.

As far as this current basketball season, I like Cleveland and Golden State again. Both in six. I thought the Rockets were in position to usurp Golden State all year, but they haven't shown me enough in the playoffs.
