Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

This kind of admin nonsense is just terrible for the sport.
There needs to be some common sense "spirit of the game" that goes on. Probably used to back in the day. The timeout was to ensure possession/victory, which basically occurred anyway, Raps lose, move on.

Hell I'm fine like in pick-up leagues if it's 10 points or whatever under a minute and the teams just kind of concede, refs call it. No dribble out bs. But I'm getting older and lazier.

Damn, did not expect to pull that one off, great win to pull it off in OT. Don't know what to expect from the rest of the series, but to steal the first game of the serious when we never led in regulation is big. My only expectation for the rest of the playoffs is basically enjoy watching LeBron and hope for the best for the team.

Side note: Nice to have Tristan Thompson back in form, he is the X factor right now. On the other end, Clarkson has gone dead and Nance is nowhere to be found. Love and JR need to step it up but good game from both tonight.

Quick turnaround for Game 2 tomorrow night. Scheduling quirk has two games, both in the Eastern Time Zone, so tip-off is at 6 p.m. Little bit less recovery time. Wouldn't be surprised by a loss. Quite frankly, I came into this series with the mindset of being happy taking one out of the first two on the road.

Go 1-1 on the road. Take a 3-1 lead at home is typically the goal. So not expecting a win on the road tomorrow

what an epic meltdown by the raptors. missed 14 of 15 at one point in the 4th quarter.

Again, maybe not popular, but I feel fine about Thursday night, better than I did looking at Game 1.

They got to feel the Raptors out in Game 1 and there’s a sense of comfort with the opponent already. They have rest (no travel), they have film and they have the mental edge.

I think LeBron smells blood in the water, realizes this may be the best chance for extended rest before a true heavyweight bout with Philly/Boston. Take a 2-0 road lead now. Certainly don’t see a 12-30, 1-8 3pt, 1-6 FT performance. I think he comes out ready to kill.

LeBron has mentioned 'the injury he got in game 7" a number of times... I thought it was just cramps... so that concerns me
Love is a physical mess... both arms, hands, shoulders are in bad shape..
George Hill and Rodney's back
Korver's foot
Tristan's calf

and there's a long way to go to Eastern finals and maybe NBA championship

PS When did it become an NBA rule that you are not allowed to follow your shot? cuz we never follow out shots

I would not worry about injuries unless guys started missing games because of them. It would take a pretty serious injury for Lebron to miss a playoff game unless he really needs to refresh himself.

I think the major reason that you do not see the Cavs following up their shots is because they do not want to get caught short handed on the defensive side and Toronto, just like Indiana, likes to get out and get the easy baskets. I have noticed the same thing you have and that is the only conclusion I can come up with.
