Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Nice to see TT finally get a decent amount of time in a game and on
the court with Irving. At nearly 30 minutes this was his most action. You
could tell he gained alot of confidence. His defensive rotation was very good and he had another good game blocking 3 shots. He spent alot of the time in the fourth period on Cousins and did a fine job. Cousins scored that go ahead basket on Jamison with 6 seconds left.

TT even had an assist and split his 6 free throws, which, if you've watched him this season, is a big deal. He busts his ass when he's in there. He's progressing nicely.

Kyrie Irving is a bad man. He has more clutch in his pinkie than LeChoke has in his entire body.

Probably why LeBust wants to come back. Now he knows he wouldn't have to take the clutch shots.

Just wanted to thank malibuspeedrace for posting the link for the free tickets to the game tonight and to tsteele316 (so I didn't have to look up the answer ). This was actually the first NBA game that I've been to, so for it to end with Kyrie making two foul shots to go up 1 with .4 seconds left was pretty neat in my opinion. Had I not seen the free ticket link on here I wouldn't even thought about going and would have missed out. Anyways, thanks again guys!

no problem

I saw it on the RCF site & passed it along here & on another site.

Was an exciting game.
I also wouldn't have thought about going without the free tickets because of the BG to Cleveland distance.

This was my second game at the Q (the first was a playoff game against the Hawks 3 or so years ago).

for those interested in tanking at all costs for draft picks, I should have went to the game. i'm 1-7 in cavs games, with the only win being cleveland squeaking by a shitty knicks team 2 years ago.

Kyrie had a sick no look over the shoulder pass that Gee took for a fast break alley-oop...this kid is amazing...i think grant is starting to realize that with kyrie in the lineup we have a chance to win most games...so tanking is pretty hard so we must trade...so far sessions is only player ive even heard people ask for but that will change after all star break

Irving should be benched for the rest of the season.. what part of 'tanking it for the draft position' doesn't he understand? and hitting free throws vs Sacramento - should have his butt kicked.. we need Sacramento to make the playoffs

Yep, could have pulled even with Detroit last night. They need to get rid of Jamison/Sessions asap.

sacramento isn't making the playoffs with the team they have constructed right now, especially not with keith smart as coach. really, it's probably better for the cavs if the kings get themselves into #9-10 seed territory in 2 years.

the reality is that there are some really bad teams in the nba this year. really bad. then after that cluster of 3-4 total stinkers, there is a cluster of another 5-7 mildly shitty teams. The Cavs are in the middle of that cluster, and really, should be at the back end of it, sans an injury to AV. The Cavs aren't really totally terrible when Jamison plays well offensively.

I think they should have taken Derrick Williams and Kemba Walker.

i'm sorry. this still cracks me up.

by the by, irving and thompson in the rising stars game last night: 54 points on 22-24 shooting. irving MVP. both lead their teams in scoring.

kemba walker and derrick williams, 12 points on a combined 5-15 shooting.

Vescey: Cavs ?Swamped by Calls? Heading in to NBA Trade Deadline
February 28, 2012 By Scott 0 Comments
In his lastest column for the New York Post, Peter Vescey states that the Cleveland Cavaliers once again find themselves in the middle of several trade discussions. While Orlando?s Dwight Howard remains the most-coveted pending free agent, it sounds like Cleveland?s Ramon Sessions is the Plan B for several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers who are reportedly doing ?some fast talking.?
Certainly, salary cap space is playing to Cleveland?s advantage.
Having $7.1 million in cap space, Vescey states that Chris Grant and his staff are receiving plenty of teams looking to move draft picks if the Cavaliers, who are ?swamped by calls,? are willing to take on an additional contract or two. Within the last 24 hours, reports surfaced surrounding the Atlanta Hawks looking to move Marvin Williams? $7 million dollar contract.
While Houston?s Kyle Lowry or Denver?s Raymond Felton are also on Los Angeles? radar, the cap space posessed by Cleveland make any discussed trades that much easier to complete. It is expected that all trades the Cavaliers make will either involve additional financial freedom or additional draft selections, preferably in the first round.
The 2012 NBA trade deadline is March 15.

interesting.

Yes it is. I prefer a second first rounder this year since they're going to have multiple first rounders in the following 3 drafts (yea, I'm assuming Sac will improve enough). That would be nice to have 2 first rounders in 4 straight drafts. If they can hit on half of them, that's 3 more pretty good players in addition to KI and TT.
