Here's my take on Kevin Love: great looking player, absolute statistics machine. Should be so dominant the 'Wolves don't suck. 'Wolves suck nonetheless.

Melo 2.0. Like Anthony, Love's impact on the team is much less than his statistics would indicate he should be.

I'd give up Waiters, Bennett and a first for him, no doubt, but Wiggins? Fuhgeddaboutit.

Kevin Love is still a hell of a player. Their second best player is Rubio. Yes, Friggin Rubio. And they competed for a spot in the playoffs in the West. That equates to a 3 seed in the East. Is he a LeBron/KD impact player? No. But he's still a top 10 player at any position in the league.

How would the math work in a Love trade?
Love is going to want a hefty extension...
With LBJ & Irving at max.. how do you make the math work for 3 max deals?

Wiggins is a great talent.. but his contract value is squat.. same for Bennett and Waiters
and you can't touch Andy... LBJ loves Andy

The only math we need to worry about would be trading away enough to equal Love. Anything else is Gilbert's willingness to pay the luxury tax. We have young talent so we can go over the cap to keep them. This only becomes a problem when your players get old and you can't sign good young plays.

Love will make $15+ million, Bennett and Waiters make $10 million, Hopson maked 2.5 million (that is why we signed him) and that gets you home for salaries to match (they don't need to match, just within some percentage) So in whatever trade, without including TT or Andy, you have to include 2 of Bennett, Wiggins or Waiters
