Hey! With Duke Johnson, they have THREE decent backups!
The colors are Syracuse ripoffs, but its the fucking writing down the leg, etc. that looks like twatsalad. It is something I would expect if a pee wee team got to design their own unis.Agreed. One thing they always got right was not tinkering too much with what was a classic uniform. Outside of some changes to striping/accents, and mixing in some alternate uniforms/combinations, the uniforms went largely unchanged throughout their existence. And I thought the last incarnation of their classic look was actually pretty sharp. They may have been [Mark May] on the field, but at least they fit in with organizations like the Packers, Bears, and Stillers in that they didn't mess with a classic uniform. It gave them an identity other than "[Mark May]ty football team." Now they look like a bunch of college mid-major assholes. Only Seattle and Jacksonville are worse, IMO.
They drafted the Craig Whelihan of cornerbacks in the top-10. Nice work.#flawless

Justin Gilbert is flawlessly allowing Sammy Watkins and the Bills receivers to catch a ton of passes during the joint practice.

I've been watching Justin Gilbert for 15 minutes, and I've seen him get beaten badly three times.

My unofficial tally of #Browns CB Justin Gilbert's practice from hell: Allowed 11 catches (4 in 1-on-1 drills, 1 in 7-on-7, six in 11-on-11)

I didn't see #Browns CB Justin Gilbert break up a pass. I think he gave up a catch every time he was targeted. Never seen such a rough day.

Damn. You guys sound like Penn State fans. The colors are Syracuse ripoffs, but its the fucking writing down the leg, etc. that looks like twatsalad. It is something I would expect if a pee wee team got to design their own unis.

You know that old saying, "Don't root for the name on the back of the jersey, root for the name on the front of the jersey." Well, now you can root for the name down the leg.
Progress, or something.
I’m going to sit here and say it. Justin Gilbert is a bust. All of the characteristics that define a bust: poor attitude, weak work ethic, immaturity, and of course poor production; he has. We know the physical attributes are there, but clearly the technique and mental approach isn’t.
After calling his own game “flawless” in the team’s first preseason game against Washington, he’s received some scrutiny for being delusional. If anything, many think his game has actually digressed over the course of camp.
It also came out this offseason, that he’s dealt with big-time off-field issues that haven’t been surfaced with full detail, according to an article in ESPN. Some of his teammates even disapproved of his work ethic throughout his rookie season.
When anonymous comments begin to surface from inside the locker room, you know you have a big problem.
At this point, I think the team has all but thrown in the towel on his career with the organization, even if they won’t publicly admit it. Because of his high draft status, he is almost guaranteed a roster spot by the start of the season, but that doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed playing time from what we’ve seen so far.
