Cleveland Browns (official thread of Masochism 2015)

THIS JUST IN

"Play like a Brown" has infected the Lake Erie water supply. It has already made it to Detroit and is reportedly on it's way to Buffalo. If it reaches the Atlantic sports as we know it are done.

I hate to say this, because I was not a Hoyer fan, but the front office's decision to bench Hoyer last year in favor of Manziel was the death knell of this team. The players and the coaching staff believed in Hoyer, and the team played hard with him at the helm. Hoyer led the team to a 7-6 record. Since benching Hoyer, the team is 2-13.

Of all the stupid, indefensible decisions made by this franchise since 1999, the drafting of Johnny Manziel was by far the worst and most destructive. He's split the team, split the fan base, and at the end of the day he's a 5-foot-11, 200-pound celebrity who'd rather be partying on South Beach than playing football in Cleveland.

In other words, he was the PERFECT clowns draft choice.

A tip of the cap to all Browns season ticket holders. It takes a strong person to subject yourself to Browns football in person game after game, year after year.
