Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Not Bakers best day (charitable) but a win in the road anyway.

This defense has a chance to not too shabby while the offense adjusts to having a lot of film out there

Cleveland Browns left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. exited Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and was carted to the locker room. The former Alabama star battled ankle injuries early this season. He appeared to re-injure his ankle with 4:29 left in the third quarter.

I don't really thinking Minnesota's record is indicative of their talent, either. Cousins has been really good for over a year now. Their three losses have come against opponents with a 10-2 record (how crazy is it that the Browns and Bengals are two of those teams?)

Solid win. I'm not surprised Baker struggled considering the familiarity the teams have with each others' coaching philosophies.

Jarvis Landry's absence is no small part of Baker's equation. The last 2 seasons his completion percentage to Landry is over 70%.

When throwing to OBJ it's barely 50%. The chemistry just hasn't been there.

I just don't get it... as a professional QB why is it so difficult for Baker to hit a WIDE OPEN receiver in the body... why do you throw it 9 ft high...
Mechanically, how have you not been taught to correct this in your lifetime?

He's hurt and it's pretty obvious. His footwork has gone to hell when pressured in favor of getting rid of the ball to avoid additional contact. Not that his ball placement was Aaron Rodgers before this. He still had moments where he'd sail high, but Sunday was just next level bad.

If it's as bad as I would suspect, Keenum should start the next week or two. If the running game and pass rush can continue to step up, you don't need too much behind that to at least find some offensive efficiency.

Baker was actively hurting the team this past Sunday. I may not have a QB who rifles passes and hits big time throws, but I need a QB who gives my receivers a fighters chance.
