Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

There is a plausible scenario where the Browns could take the division in Week 17 with a win and miss the playoffs completely with a loss.

Week 16
Dolphins beat Raiders (MIA 10-5)
Ravens beat Giants (BAL 10-5)
Colts beat Steelers (IND 11-4, PIT 11-4)
Browns beat Jets (CLE 11-4)
Packers beat Titans (TEN 10-5)

Week 17
Dolphins beat Bills (MIA 11-5)
Ravens beat Bengals (BAL 11-5)
Colts beat Jaguars (IND 12-4)
Titans beat Texans (TEN 11-5)

Browns beat Steelers
3 seed = Browns (12-4)
4 seed = Colts (12-4)
5 seed = Titans (11-5)
6 seed = Steelers (11-5)
7 seed = Dolphins (11-5)
out = Ravens (11-5)

Steelers beat Browns
3 seed = Colts (12-4)
4 seed = Steelers (12-4)
5 seed = Titans (11-5)
6 seed = Dolphins (11-5)
7 seed = Ravens (11-5)
out = Browns (11-5)

Lets hope the Raiders put an end to that on Sunday and play like they did against the Browns. I went to bed thinking the Browns were in a pretty good spot. If the Steelers beat the Colts next week they rest everyone important against the Browns, but if the Steelers lose they are on a 4 game losing streak and playing like shit with the AFC North on the line week 17. Need to find a way to get Harrison and Teller healthy for that Steelers game.

How are the Browns out, but the Titans in if they both finish 11-5? (And the Titans don't win the South.obviously)

I assume 4 way tie at 11-5 would revert to head to head amongst all 4 teams. i.e. Brown 1-2 (beat Titans, lost 2 to Ravens), Titans 1-1 (beat Ravens, lost to Browns), ...

Its not, but I guess you first apply division tiebreakers then head to head, which I guess makes the Browns head to Head with other division teams not count.

I’ve always been a closet Raiders fan because I liked the way Al Davis was always sticking it to the NFL. This is in spite of red right 88, which I have never gotten over. So it’s extra easy for me to pull for them tonight.
