In the NFL’s defense, Myles has some pretty bad instances on film this year.

I think he punched a Tennessee player early in the year and I think he knocked a QB out for the season with a late hit in like week 3 or 4. Maybe he’s getting the Draymond “nut kick” treatment?

Wouldn’t have an issue with that.

I'm just genuinely shocked somebody thought to put "Don't use a helmet as a hammer on somebody" in the rulebook.

Yet lets applaud Pouncey for continuing to swing on and kick a man who is subdued and down on the ground by the real mature person in this, Castro the OL.

He was totally protecting his QB by continuing to beat on a man who had a 300lb lineman lying on him.

I'm not a homer on this one. Garrett was uncalled for and deserves suspended. Ogunjobi shoved a guy down.... which literally happens every week in the NFL to nothing more than a 15yd penalty.

What bothers me is all the people who cannot see that Pittsburgh, namely Rudolph, was very complicit in all this. So if that makes me a homer, so be it.

As an aside, someone had mentioned to me that the wonderful and merciless "pooch kick" Olave caught was a violation because he was "hiding out" but I loved the play too much to look it up.

Just re-watched the video...... then looked again at the "Hide Out" section of NFL rules. Hmmmm.

I'm not motivated, because I truly loved the play, to check NCAA/B1G rules, but that's interesting.

Lol. Who the fuck is applauding Pouncey? Steelers homers? What does that have to do with anything?

Here's how I know you're a homer. You compared Ogunjobi's action with a normal football play. He came from behind and shoved someone to the ground who didn't know he was there.....after that person had just gotten clocked in the head with his own helmet. Be real with yourself now.

That is a rule, but it wouldn’t apply to Chris, IMO. He was standing over there with 2 other players. When the kicker starts his motion to the ball, those guys begin their motion towards the ball and down the field.

Only this time, Chris stayed still while the other guys ran. There wasn’t any hiding.

Ogunjobi’s actions warrant a penalty DURING the play, let alone after the play.

No problem with the punishments meted out, other than actually thinking Garrett deserves more, but that's personal opinion...however, Rudolph getting zilch is outrageous. He tried yanking a player's helmet off, went after his gonads and continued to pursue him as he was backing up and being restrained. Garrett is the worst offender here, by far, but that's some bullshit.
