Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

If I only looked at Twitter and read this thread I'd think someone was murdered last night.

A few dudes lost their cool at the end of a football game between teams who don't like each other. This stuff goes on in the NHL every night.
I’m sure you’d be saying that if a Penn State or Michigan DE ripped off Fields helmet and hit him with it

I was in shock last night but now seeing the other side completely freaking out, I’ve actually calmed some. Certainly not the worst act of aggression we’ve seen between the lines like some want to say. But overreactions sell.

Lengthy suspension coming for sure. That type of idiocy and violence isn’t cool but it’s not like he held Rudolph down and delivered some death blow with a stone to the skull.

Fields wouldn't be dumb enough to do what Rudolph did.

First he tries to rip Garrett's helmet off but isn't strong enough to do it. Then he chases Garrett without his helmet on. Brilliant decision.

Last I checked Rudolph isn't even injured, so pardon me for not losing my mind over it. Garrett will get suspended and life will go on.

As someone that grew up watching the Pacers, I feel like not a lot of love is being shown towards the Malice in the Palace.

Ron Artest decked a fan. Jamaal Tinsley was swinging a dust pan. And Jermaine O’Neal almost punched a guy into a coma (if he hadn’t slipped).

I’ve seen wilder in sports than a brawl between armored men and helmet swing.

I don’t think anyone here has suggested he be banned permanently or tried for a crime (although as someone pointed out on Twitter, if he did that to Brady they’d wheel an electric chair out on the field), but what he did was at least as bad as Haynesworth, so he’s gonna get 6 games most likely, as it should be. As far as the Steelers go, we’ll see, but given that they have been league darlings since forever, I doubt anything will happen to them (maybe one game for Pouncey for the kick).
