, or adapting his scheme to the awful line play. He just expects he’s so smart it’s going to work.
. How do they let Dawand Jones come into the year to bigger and more out of shape than he was last year?
There is no offense in football, past, present, or future that works without a functional OL, regardless of design.
Dawand is now a professional football player. They can't hold his hand during the off season. He's an adult and needs to conduct himself, including taking proper care of his body to be ready for an NFL season, as an adult would. What you're asking essentially amounts to why didn't the Browns hire him a babysitter.
Again; four phase issue.
OL is bad
QB is bad
RBs are average at best.
None of those position groups are in a place to help make the other better, most importantly of all the QB spot.
Coaches can only do so much to alleviate this problem. That said, they also haven't gotten the most out of his offense, from a design standpoint, that they could be doing. They won't get a pass from me. Which I'll have more on later.
. Some people don't have the motivation to put in the work on their own so you need to find out how to motivate them.
If they draft Sanders with Ewers and Cam Ward still out there, I'm done forever.2025 NFL Mock Draft: Projecting trades for Davante Adams and other top WRs, how it could impact Round 1

Gotta love the Browns pick. You know he comes with his own head coach!
Don't worry, I'm quite sure the Clowns will be on daddy's list of teams he won't play for.If they draft Sanders with Ewers and Cam Ward still out there, I'm done forever.
Exactly my point....Don't worry, I'm quite sure the Clowns will be on daddy's list of teams he won't play for.
Well, not that it would stop this poverty organization from drafting him...
I liked his “I evaluated play calling this week, and I decided I should still be calling plays” after WashingtonSo Stefanski is from Philly.
Can he like, I don't know, stay there after this game is over?
That's almost on the Pat Shurmur (chode) level of ego....I liked his “I evaluated play calling this week, and I decided I should still be calling plays” after Washington
He's done too. Broke his lower leg/ankle.And now the second center is down…maybe Watson can snap it to himself
