Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

The under was originally 40.5 as well. So moment of silence for all those who got in on that number.

I'm not a gambler and don't really understand all of that, but when it happened I was wondering how many people lost money on that last TD. Kind of like all the people that were pissed when Chubb ran out of bounds rather than scoring the TD a couple years ago.

I'm not going to argue with a punt out of bounds at the 4 with enough time to run 1 play, but I was a little surprised they didn't go for 4th and inches since they hadn't been stopped at those all night. I feel like the Browns would be 3-0 right now if they played the coverages from last night in the first 2 games. Let the cover corners cover. You might give up some gains and PI's, but at least you aren't going to give up long TD's on blown coverage. I'm pretty sure the defense consists of Garrett, Clowney, Ward, and Newsome so they need some upgrades up the middle of the defense.

I know 2 people who did, and I'm in a group text with them about our wagers. The conversation was not pleasant at the end of the game....

Woods did call a fair amount of man coverage in the 1st half of game 1. The problem was some of the ill timed busts from bad communications - the first one to Tommie Tremble was between Grant and Johnny J. The second one was Newsome not understanding his vertical landmark in cover 6 and matching the correct route/coverage.

If either of those busts just resulted in 15-20 yard gains, we're likely not having this conversation. Even with how bad game 2 was. Speaking of Game 2... well I'm still not through it yet. But I noticed Woods went away from any press or bump and went almost exclusively off in our man and cover 3 looks last night almost immediately after Pickens came down with that amazing catch. And I'll give it up to the kid, it was an insane play. But it took that sort of thing to move the ball on us. Woods played a bit more timid after that and I can't agree with that type of mindset. When your pass rush isn't getting home like it needs to, I have to disrupt between the QB and receiver somehow. Next best answer is going at the route runners themselves. I have a feeling that's what happened week 2 as well.
